went to activate sirius radio in the jag tonight and the sirius radio is stuck aquiring signal. anyone else had this problem or know solution to resolve this?

 

do you have a bluetooth phone on when this happens?

 

What type of satellite radio? Is it in the ashtray?

 

yes i have bluetooth enabled and turned my phone off and still not able to get a signal. it is installed where the ashtray would be.

Try a "hard reset", disconnect both the positive and negative battery cables and touch them together. Reconnect and try again.

 

If the antenna is on the trunk lid, possible the cable is pinched. If was port installed sirius, the module should be in the trunk, right side behind the carpet. If you have access to another antenna, plug it in and see if acquires signal. Vehicle also has to be outside as Sirius signal sucks.
