Default Recommendation for the Purchase of HID Lights

I am aware of the downside of HID units! You don't have to tell me.

I purchased some HIV's made in southeast Asia. Junk as far as I am concerned. Cheap education at $29.00 and free shipping.
I looked at some HID's that had Lifetime guaranties. but when I read the fine prinf, it appears that Lifetime meant: if they break[ you die; Skipped those!

I am looking for quality components, quality wiring, and a reasonable price.

Any suggestions?

You put a smile on my face! You corrected the redundancy in my spelling of recommendation. I couldn't do it, and did not want to appear ignorant of the proper spelling. I had one other purposeful mistake, but I see you caught it also!

Not to waste a posting
I have given up on HID lights and intend to substitute HID Projectors. I would appreciate any recommendation on those units

Afterburner, try looking up either "Maxlux" or "Bosch". Both of those kits are going to run you a bit more, but I can guarantee that if you wire them up properly, they will outlast your car. Don't skimp on the wiring. Use 16 gauge wire all the way around from the battery to the ballast and to ground. If you can power them directly off of the battery via a relay, that would be best. Granted, I have seen vehicles run just fine with them powered from the factory wiring.
