When I lock the car I dont hear the horn beep, a feature I really like. Even if I press the lock button twice I dont get a beep from the horn.. Is there anything I can do.. As you can tell I need the beep...

 

S-Types don't typically beep (honk, using the car horn) unless you press the lock button twice in quick succession.

It may be a feature that's enabled using IDS, but I just looked on mine and didn't see it immediately. I will hook it up to an S-Type next week and see but, if it's a dealer enabled feature, you will most likely have to pay them one hour's worth of labor to have it enabled.

Try the double press and see if that works. If it does, it's a cheap work around.
