Replacing timing chain ; need position of crank shaft for timing chain

Replacing timing chain ; need position of crank shaft for timing chain
cant seem to get the right position/timing mark diagram on the crank shaft for timing belt , been difficult finding the tool to do it as well. Any suggestions on the position for the crank shaft and is there a substitute tool I can use?
