Sticky buttons
Anyone got a solution for sticky switches?
The rubberised switch gear in my second-hand XKR has deteriorated - either sun / heat or inappropriate detailing chemicals?
The result is a nasty stickiness that feels terrible and collects dirt.
I've tried gentle methods with no success.
Considering some kind of transparent film cover trimmed with a scalpel but difficult and inelegant.
Anyone fixed similar problem in the past?

It's just time and decay and it happens on all types of cars and trucks too. Man do they complain on the Ferrari forums about this! It's just a lot of work but it will come off and the buttons will feel and work as new.
