Subwoofers

I'm having huge trouble trying run my RCA wires to my trunk because of the gas tank. I have a 2002 xj8. I can't get the back seat off and the gas tank is behind it. anybody have any ideas how I can run the RCA's through the back.

I added another amp to my 2004 VDP by installing a line out converter. I spliced in the the rear speaker wires in the trunk so I only required a few feet of RCA cable. I know this doesn't answer your question but it's another option if it works in your case/model of vehicle. I didn't want to loose my Navigation controls so I opted to keep the factory amp intact but I don't use it.
