Unhappy trouble finding a short - RESOLVED

Hi. I'm not a electrical expert for sure, but I know enough to keep myself out of trouble...however, I'm having a hard time finding what is drawing a constant 1.2 amps of current in my 1999 XJ8 (I posted here because I doubt it's specific to that model).

Here's what I've done - disconnected the negative cable on the battery put a multimeter between the post and the cable - measures 1.2 amps. The doors are latched and the trunk is latched. Everything is turned off.

Then, I connected a test light and started pulling fuses one at a time. I pulled every fuse and nothing caused the light to go out. Correction - I pulled every fuse except for the 3 - 5 that have special covers.

Is there any unfused circuits that could be causing the draw? Any other tests I could do?

Couldn't figure out how to delete this thread. Turns out one of the doors wasn't latched as I originally thought...though I'm not sure why pulling the door switch fuses wouldn't have dropped the amps.

Good to hear you traced and fixed the fault. Thanks for coming back to post the result. I've added "RESOLVED" to your thread title.
