Default Tyres

So, has anyone heard of Comforser tyres?
I know that they are Canadian but that is about it.

Well, I did reply but it disappeared.
I am fully aware of Google Search thank you very much.
I'll rephrase the question.
Does anybody have any experience of Comforser tyres on their car?
Are they any good or will they throw you in a ditch?

Sorry for being a bit "sarcy". I should have realised you wanted people's experience of these. No, I have no experience, and, indeed, had never heard of them until you posted. However, I suspect they are "budget" tyres from China. I looked for reviews on the website below, but there aren't any, so suspect these have not been on sale very long.

If you want a good tyre at a reasonabe price, have you looked at Falken ? I have these all-round on my MG TF. They are the MG Motor recommended tyre and transformed my TF into a car that no longer wanted to leap into the ditch at every line in the road. I've just put a full set on the wife's VW New Beetle for Ł268

Just a quick update to say the Falkens for the New Beetle cost Ł230, not Ł268. Where I got that latter figure from, God only knows, or maybe it was the Talisker Skye !

I have used Falkens before and quite like them so I may will give them a go, if I can find the right size.

Always a good plan to test out unfamiliar tyres on the wife's car first.

Ha Ha !! However not unfamiliar as I have a full set of Falkens on my 2009 MG TF, and these are the MG Motor recommendation. The Falkens transformed the TF from a nervous "leap into the ditch anytime" kind of car to one that is totally stable and confidence giving.
