Default What adhesive to use?

The bezel around the power window controls on my 92 XJS has come loose. Before I attempt to glue it down, I better get advice as to what kind of adhesive to use.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I would use adhesive as a last resort. If you don't want to get a junkyard part with good clips, I would use single sided sticky foam, and then compress it on the sides. It will leave no residue and still be able to remove the switch pack.

It should have 4 integral plastic clips, sounds like yours are broken. I wouldn't glue it. You can get an oem switch for around 40-50$. If you glue it and it fails you may not be able to get it out. You could use the opportunity to put in a switch from an 01+ with the Auto down driver's side (though that switch is pricey)
