X350/358 CAN Bus Hacking?
Folks,
About to start down the path of getting rid of the stock touch screen to replace it with something more up-to-date and modern - I have my eyes on a very nice 8" Alpine unit as one option, but not decided yet.
To that end, I want to completely map functions of the existing buttons; have the necessary CAN tools to do that. So, in an effort to not re-invent the wheel, though to ask if if someone has already gone and decoded the CAN bus messages relating to the infotainment and HVAC ...etc. in the X350/X358.
