About 25 years ago I installed a Triple 45DCOE setup on an E-Type 4.2 with Chrome Headers on the Exhaust side.

It was quiet the experience to drive. The only complaint I had with it was the throttle was too 'touchy' off idle. It should have some sort of progressive throttle because a little throttle revs the engine too much. It is difficult to drive in traffic until you get used to it.

I think the brand was REDLINE but it was a long time ago and the customer bought it for me to install.

It was very loud from the intake side. If you open the throttle and look through the carb barrel, you can see the back of the intake valve. The little rectangular air filters did not help much with the 'hissing' sound of the Webers.

Here is what I found online with a quick search.

WEBER Carburetors distributed by Redline : Jaguar

My first thought was Mangoletsi who have been manufacturing Weber manifolds for over fifty years. Their products are distributed through a number of specialist tuning companies around the World. However, the photo appears to be a rougher casting finish than theirs.

Have a look at the photo on Vintage Jag Works website:

It looks a very close design to the one you have and their catalogue lists the water rail as a separate item.

Good to hear you've positively identified it.

I hope it doesn't take another three months to locate a water rail.
