The I-Pace seems to have this "feature" where the car shuts off when you put it in park and open the door. Further to that, it seems the car automatically shuts itself off after a few minutes if it doesn't detect the key. I have yet to find a way to disable this. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or, does anyone have any suggestions for how to get an update to make this toggle-able. It's annoying when I have the climate control running and realize I forgot something in the house and the car shuts off. If I don't push the power button, it's shouldn't be shutting off. Also, I have a dog and I like to be able to leave her in the car with the AC running, so I can't have the car shutting itself off. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

 

The only workaround to automatic shutoff on park is to push N (Neutral) and push forward the EPB (Electric Parking Brake). Don't try that on a slope, though.

 

Turn the car off and turn on climate preconditioning?
