Dyeing your leather interior
I have a '88 Vanden Plas with light beige interior. The armrest and seatshave become worn from years of use, and I have dyedit with remarkeable results. If you go to www.leathertech.com they will match the exact dye for your interior. You can find the exact colorcodefor yourinterioronthe drivers door jam where tire pressure is listed. It's a really inexpensive way to renew your interior compared to replacing armrest or covering seats.
Painting leather isn't an option because paint will wear off quickly, crack, and you'llbe hard pressed to find paint that perfectlymatches the interior color.Dyeing leather is far more effective because it is the original process that the leather went through to get that color.
