Instead of a nasty piece of plastic ( often with a main dealers logo on it)stuck on the screen:-
Desmo ( a name from the past in UK motoring) make a chrome " Tax disk " holder with the car maker's badge or similar in its centre boss.
Versions for many of the major car makers are available.

My Jaguar one has a British Racing Green boss with a leaper above the word JAGUAR.
A version with a growler on it is also made
