Default Total customized fascia and door inserts 2002 XK8

Finishing up my new interior on my XK8. The wood veneer was so faded and yellow, I fell in love with the new F type titanium interior, so I ordered some brushed titanium wrap and got started. The chrome trim rings really set it off! I have a stock pile of badges and growlers from past ideas so I popped off the outer ring of a new growler and epoxied it to my old XJS badge (always one of my favorite jaguar badges) and stuck it on the airbag panel. (Yes, I know a hazard)
I've added custom piano black dash kit pieces to my center console too. And I'm adding a long strip to the titanium panel similar to the new XF.
Finally, I covered the door inserts, speaker covers, and a pillars in black suede.
Also painted the headliner in lack fabric paint as well.
The car feels 10 years newer!! Total customized fascia and door inserts 2002 XK8-image.jpg

Ignore the edges of the titanium! Have to re cover it. I had a black gloss dash kit made to cover plastic shifter.

That's just a sample made with some black racing stripe gloss tape. I'm going to replace with actual gloss vinyl wrap when I get it back from painters. I'm thinking about testing some new matte black walnut wood grain where the black is

Tastefully done.

But how do you keep an interior so CLEAN?

Mine looks like a building site.

Well, the door and seats are about to change for the last time. I'm replacing the seats and center console lid leather with oatmeal with black top stitching. Then the door inserts will also be covered in the same. Planning on the rear speaker covers getting the same detail but the soaker sits out too much as is. It's stumping me!!

Won't replacing the leather on the seats with oatmeal be a bit gritty to sit on?

Don't forget the pics Phil.

Default Looks great!

Can you tell us a little more about the install process? Is the wrap adhesive? Any tricks on installing it, especially around the gauges? I'd like to do this to my dash panels but I'd need a different finish, do you know what else is available? Thanks!
