JAguar USA promotes the ASSURANT aftermarket extended warranty. I am looking for opinions on this company.

 

I find it interesting that after 28 months since CactusJim requested comments, no one has responded.

When doing my own internet search for my recently purchased Jag XK, I found this approach practically worthless. Even the sites that list the "BEST" warranties state that they occasionally get reimbursed my the listed companies when you click on their site. So much for unbiased information.

Assurant wasn't listed in any of the BEST listings that I could find. Their website was poorly setup, though about the same as all of them. I couldn't find any of them that would give you an immediate dollar amount estimate based on your location and specific vehicle (year and model) without you agreeing to receive internet and phone call(S). You also have to agreei to receivie additional companies information, probably selling your information to anyone who will buy it which means more phone calls. Call me sceptic ... but that's business today.

I will probably get a policy but it looks like a flip of the coin choice as there are no reliable comparisons that I can find.
