4.2 Spark Plug Change- Any business trying this myself?
I'm certain it's been discussed a million times but I lucked into having $20 on my Autozone rewards card, which I used to purchase NGK platinum plugs, leaving my out of pocket expense for a tuneup being $6.32. Can't gripe there!
Took the plastic cover off the top tonight and was admittedly intimidated. A friend and I may attempt the challenge tomorrow (he is admittedly quite mechanically inclined and my experience is limited to the I-6 Jag engines) and I was looking for any pointers what to look out for or any tricks in general in performing the task.
Let me know your opinions guys. Many thanks.

Yessir, got it done today and indeed that was the one that was a bear to deal with. Took a tad over an hour to complete, start to finish, then washed the hands and called it a day.
Just for the sake of curiosity I called the closest Jag dealer just to see what the going rate was for a plug change by the experts: *drum roll*..... $420.00+ tax.
I know, I shouldn't be surprised but wow...
