Default 94 XJ12 sidepipes?

So, I've always loved side pipes, i'm thinking about putting a set on the XJ12, has anyone done this? how hard is it and does any one have pictures because I feel like its not a car that most people put side pipes on and I wanted to see what it would look like.

thanks
-sam

You can put side pipes on just about any car. We used to do this back in the late 50s, called them "Lake Pipes" then. Most were capped and many were fakes. Every city has someone who does custom exhaust work. Ask around. It is obviously easier to do a simple side exhaust, ala Dodge Viper, than a chrome pipe parallel to the rocker panels. As for just how it would look, play around with photoshop.

Assume you like the sound of a side exhaust. Personally, I have had it on a Shelby GT350 many years ago and hated the sound. It was too loud; too close to my ears; and what I heard was mostl one half of a V8 motor sound.

ask and shall receive!! all 12 cylinders come out one side,my side!

all twelve cylinders at 7000rpm? absolutly intoxicating, it whines like a cat should(or howls).

YES i,m careful over speed bumps, surprisingly it seldom touches anything!
