EuroToys is NOT to be trusted

EuroToys is NOT to be trusted
I called Eurotoys asking about their 4.0 XJR tune for $995.
My primary question was if they truly guarantee their advertised gains of 28-30 HP.
When I asked if they would be willing to have on the billing invoice a description that the $995 was for an ECU tune for a 4.0 XJR/XKR that was advertised as +28-30 HP and the conversation quickly became:
"No we can't do that because you will just find some crooked dyno operator to intentionally screw up your car so you can get your money back"
When he knew I would be able to hold him to his advertisement of 28-30 HP, he was no longer interested in attempting to tell me he guarantees the gains will be as advertised.
He also told me that I should not have gotten a larger MAF, nor could I have benefited from one, and that it would screw up the tune.
So, just a warning to everyone that they do NOT stand behind their advertised gains, it is only a marketing ploy.
Update, found one place that did a tune for a member, he paid $500 and got +18 RWHP on the dyno. Turns out Eurotek sells the tune to EuroToys and they simply mark it up to $995 and over exaggerate the results and hope you don't figure it out until after you've paid.

Not to mention my issues with euro toys and mike providing incorrect lower land rover pulley for a jaguar that pushed seal into chain and resulted in all the valves bent on a bank. I feel bad cause I should have caught this and Mike has agreed to help with repairs for their part in this. As I have said, everyone makes mistakes but its how theyre handled when they happen that makes the differance. This is unfortunate as someone with a Jaguar probobly kept their stoker and just got a 4.2l balancer from a junk yard and sent back to Eurotoys for core screwing everyone in the process. Land Rover and Jaguar 4.2's balancers are differant in many areas, this being one even though they look the same at first glance. I have recommended Mike for years and this was a bumpy first time mistake. Its been handled now and everyone is satisfied with the resolve and I apprieciate the great customer service and comminucation to resolve the issue. Makes for a great company...
