How do I get into Jaguar ECU's to disable the security and body functions? We want to run the 2010 Supercharged 5.0l direct injection engines, unmodified, in another car. We have the standard loom but just want to run the engine or engine and transmission. Ecu: DENSO P5 OSC

You are probably better off running an aftermarket ECU in this case, disabling all these features in the standard Denso ECU to make it run standalone is a massive job.

I know one guy who could probably do it, but he's a long way from you unfortunately...

 

Who? where? is the person that may be able to help. There is an internet now so I could plug in here and they can modify from any where or teach me what to do. The cars end up going all around the world. As in the E type I'm working on is going to Monaco and it has an aftermarket ecu. It doesn't have variable cams etc. If the engines were modified then aftermarket would be good. The emissions will be good too with standard ecu.
