Does anyone know if the front drive of the m112 Eaton supercharger on the S-type R, XKR or XJR are the same front drive as the Ford Lightning or Mustang. I know for sure the front snout is the same for the Lightning and Mustang but can we swap the Jaguar front snout with the Ford?

I ask because my supercharger front snout broke right behing the pulley a big chunk of aluminum came off and now it has alot of shaft play, so I need to replace the snout. I did not find anyone that sells the snout alone. I found some extension front drives from Magnuson that seem to work but I have someone selling there eaton off a lightning for $225. What you guys think? I know the case is different but is the front snout also different?

Trying to order an 2pc extension drive from Magnuson for the Eaton hopefully the can get me an answer soon and we can confirm this 100%.

 

any word on that yet? I would really like a KB TS on mine....

 

Which brings us to the question - if the nose pieces are the same, are the shafts the same diameter which means we can use our choice of Mustang/Cobra/Lightening pulleys? The choices are much wider and cheaper. I've been planning on trying one, just haven't decided which one.

 

As far as I know you can change the shaft of the supercharger to accept a different puley option like a mustang or lightning but it is pricey to do. I found it cheaper to buy the pulley for the Jag, since Ford use different pulleys. Remember that Jaguars supercharger design is to prevent tampering. SO can it be done yes, is it recommended no. TO much money wasted on just a pulley.
Riski if you want a Kenne Bell talk to Avos he has one already mounted he just needs to tune it. I think they plan on selling a kit late this year so start saving.
