For some reason, I have a lot of trouble uploading pics onto my garage now. I did it before, but it took many tries after seeing "upload failed" messages. Also, I cannot upload pics onto threads. I get the "upload failed" message. Please Help. Thanks!

 

What size are the pics you are trying to upload?

Are they straight from your computer or a hosting site?

I also sometimes have problems with the direct method. I have a very slow Internet connection, drops to 64k! and I will get the time out message you are seeing.

I now try to keep pic sizes to 200k or less for direct upload.

However for larger pics, I use Photobucket and then upload from there.

Seems to work.

I guess that it is a time issue with packets etc, my PC direct to forum, very slow, pic failed. Photobucket to forum quicker connection, pic success.

Now as for Skype, sometimes a carrier pigeon would be easier.
