Default Annoying Pop up adds now on first posts

This just started a few days ago.....?

I thought at first that it was ads being placed for car dealerships, insurance companies , etc...by forum members

Yet it is it not on every first posting of a thread and seems to be there only at certain times?
Just random selections evidently, seems odd.
Did someone hack them in I wonder?

Are they floating over the forum posts?
If so this worked for me-

They are embedded in the posts, as if they were put there by design, not floating over or popping up, kinda like when some members post a personal icon/pic.
As I said it only happens at random times and not on all threads.

Yeah, I will try those downloads..thanks.

It is a result of the intelligent adserver engines. They are very good at mining your cookies and what is most relevant to you and the current page you are on. That is why it only seems to happen on some threads. The previous posts are your ticket to blocking or limiting them.

Try refreshing the page and relogging in. It does this too me sometimes when I get logged out sometimes. As soon as they show up I know I've somehow been logged off the site. I just refresh or log out and log back in and they go away everytime.

I have an Intel processor and updated to IE 9, Adobes Flash player wreaked havik with some sites and some pages with the pop ups.

I went here for my answer: Adobe Flash Player Active X IE9 Ad Pop Ups - Microsoft Answers

Ended up downloading new software from Intel. POOF no more problems!
