Hey Jim, this is probably a new 'default' response perhaps that accommodates the forum upgrade, but is there a reason why each post in the For Sale area has to approved by a mod/admin before showing up, and notifications sent? I understand perhaps the initial post where the thread is created, but follow up posts are still being placed in 'limbo' until it gets a look. Is that something you've intended?

you admins and mods might enjoy spending additional time handling active forum review and housekeeping duties, more than you already do (a little sarcasm in that remark ), but my first experience in this process has resulted in over 29 hours to get a post approved, and then a notification sent as a result.

Not sure if this will be more of a headache for you guys or not.

Thanks Matt, sorry about the issues buddy.

You may know some ofthe problems we've had in the past with new members signing up, no post count to sell something?

Buying something from a well known, long serving member is usually likely to result in a good honest write up, fair price etc etc.

Buying from someone unknown generally has its risks........we're trying to limit those risks to the memberbase.

It should only be moderated for anyone with less than 5 post count or less than 10 days membership.

We will keep an eye on it........If you find it remains an issue please let us know and we can revisit.

Thanks

The auto check thing doesn't seem to work Jim, I had to approve Matt's recent for sale post.

Is auto approve new?

In the past I have routinely approved posts from high post count members.

If they should have been auto approved, then it's not happening.
