I'm new here and I'm curious about what the Garage is why so many say empty. Thanks in advance.........

Welcome to the forum. The garage is where you put pictures and info about you vehicles for other members to view.
I suppose a lot of people don't want to make their garage public viewing.

Clarke has explained it perfectly and you can view his garage to see what he has done.

Not able to go to garage as it doesn't let you pick older models.

 

The oldest model listed in you Signature details is a 1953 Jaguar XK120 Roadster.

I've used the Garage template to enter this as follows:

The XK120 doesn't appear in the [Choose model] drop down model list but can be entered in the [or add other] box.

Although only XK120 is shown in the above screen shot, the available field size did allow me to enter the full XK120 Roadster as a description.

Would be a little clearer if it said something like "My car/s" or even better the name of the persons cars. when I clicked "my garage" I got lots of clips of other peoples cars. If it were blank and perhaps it were worded a little better people may be encouraged to put up details of their own cars. Perhaps even some that are not Jaguars. I took one look at the page. Thought "what the" had a brief read and came off there. No desire to put anything up. Then I came across this section.
Its not criticism. Just trying to give some feedback. Running a webpage myself I know what it feels like and what work you guys put in. I had a page that was not working for everyone else except me and no one told me! After 6 months I found out.
So it would be nice to see what everyone else is driving. We do have market place for sales too.

I created my garage the day I joined the forums and found it very straight forward and easy to navigate and I am pretty much computer illiterate.
