For some odd reason, I can't access the photo gallery. It keeps telling me that I don't have permission to access it.
Please help

Hi guys, don't worry too much about this just yet, please.
We've had some spam problems and have changed the forum a little so that new members have to have a post count of 5 - 10 and have been a member for 5 days before they access these priveleges.
This measure is to prevent pm spams and the like and for the good of all

As you guys have asked and don't appear to be spammers, I'll sort it manually for you now.
If you do turn out to be spammers, I'll come lookin for ya

Love the site! Great info, great people and the techs supporting the site appear to be Class AAA. So I have been a member since last August and I have posted maybe three messages. That does not make me a spammer, just an inqusitive new Jag owner. Perhaps tracking the numer of log-ins would be a better way to decide who is legitimate. Other wise as I have no expertise and thankfully no problems I am aware of, I would be making useless posts to stay active, like this one....

Thanks on behalf of all for your comments on the site. In answer to your questions, we do suffer from spammers as well as many "members" with a post count of 1 maybe 2 who have not / do not visit again, therefore clogging up the system.
Making a "useless" post as you put it can still generate interest / activity such as in the off topic section , regional section, or elsewhere.
This can help build a cameradderie amongst us all and help build better relations whilst maintaining your membership status.

Either way, nice to have you onboard..

 

I'm glad I found this thread. I was having a hard time figuring out what the problem was. Hopefully I'll be able to see links like pdf's and pics soon.
