Default https: problem

Tonight when I am on the forum I noticed that the https that tells you that you are on a secure site had a red slash through it and the little padlock had a red cross through it.I am using an older desktop as my laptop is not working but I get the same thing with my phone occasionally. Is there a problem with the security of this site or is it on my end?

Hasn't happened to me with JF and the PC I reserve for the forum started life with Windows Vista so old tech isn't an issue!

Next time it happens, double click on the padlock then in the box that opens, click on the arrow to the right of Connection to open Site Security. Click on More Information at the bottom and check what appears. It should be reporting the current valid certificate to 11 February 2020:



Be interesting to hear if yours is showing something different.

I got this warning today:




The detail indicated this was due to mixed content - some of the content is https and some is http presenting a potential security risk.

I use FireFox. Their explanation of the symbols is:
