I notice that the main forum page has an small icon on the left side for each different car model. All of them appear as a padlock for me. I would love it if each icon showed a photo of one of the cars, for those of us who don't know what a XJ40 or a x300 or a x120 looks like. There aren't many of those surviving to get to know them.

The padlock is supposed to mean the forum is closed to further posts. I don't know why you'd be seeing this. Maybe something is off. I see a little jaguar logo/icon, but no padlock over it.

 

You should see these icons if you are in jaguar37 mode.
The mode can be changed from the drop down menu at the extreme bottom left of the page.

At approximately 1/6th the size allowed for personal Avatar's such as my typing Linux Penguin, the icons are very small.

As an example, here is an X300:



Reduced to approximately icon size it looks like this:



Similarly for an XJ40:





Easily distinguished in the full size photos but unfortunately, at the maximum size allowed for icons, they loose sufficient detail to make them useful.

I can see a 'model guide' photo thread going on my list of jobs for the weekend!
