And why does my old avatar photo keep popping up. I changed it last october when I bought my 2008 S-type? This is not the same avatar as on my user center - or whatever it's called.

It would be good to know the process you used to find this thread. It is more than 10 years old and the latest post in it was also over 10 years ago!

I see you started another thread on the same topic and have received a reply there from Internet Brands technical support:

Our Moderator Control Panel shows that both your Avatar and Profile Picture are set to the same image as the one appearing in your recent posts. If you attempted and intended to change this, the change has not been saved.

Several years ago when the forum did "time out", I used to write all lengthy replies offline in a text editior then copy&paste the completed text to avoid losing everything. This could be a temporary solution for you until the cause of the issue is determined and resolved.

Aw, how soon we forget the joys of dial-up.

When we had dialup it was mostly text. My first web browser was Solaris and it didn't download graphics unless you clicked on it. Bring that back!

This site was painfully slow on my iPad via WiFi, so today I bought a new router and it made a noticeable improvement!
