Default Welcoming the 'neighbours'

From time to time newbies posting in the New Member Area - Intro a MUST ask the question "does anyone ever read these". The answer, from the views, is an overwhelming YES!

Recently I've noticed a number of members specifically posting 'welcomes' to newbies in their own neighbourhood. THANKS for doing this.

We're an International forum with members from all over the World. It encourages newbies, some of whom aren't used to internet forums, when an established member from nearby posts a 'welcome'.

I agree. I usually at least look through them specifically to see if anyone in NW Indiana has showed up.

California is a Very big place, and it's Highly unlikely that any Jag owners in Tehama County will join here so I try to welcome everyone.

Besides, it keeps my posting count growing.
