The original E Type cost like 3000 pounds... Who would pay 100 times that for something uglier today? I'll take 4 Aston Martins, thank you, rather than a one-off car which can't be serviced on my continent. The true successor to the E-Type should be the new XE, providing it looks like the good concepts I've seen, not the bad ones.

would have been better if it was made by jag and a more reasonable price...perhaps 80-110k?
-or just use this styling for next xk gen

The later pictures are good, but the first one was looking ugly. I think price range if 400k to 800k that would be very expensive.

Here's what the car mags are revealing (Summer 2011) as spy photos of the new XE prototype. (I think it's a red herring mini-XK and the real XE will be more faceted than the current compound-curved XK.)
