New Jaguar E-Type to be built
The original E Type cost like 3000 pounds... Who would pay 100 times that for something uglier today? I'll take 4 Aston Martins, thank you, rather than a one-off car which can't be serviced on my continent. The true successor to the E-Type should be the new XE, providing it looks like the good concepts I've seen, not the bad ones.
Here's what the car mags are revealing (Summer 2011) as spy photos of the new XE prototype. (I think it's a red herring mini-XK and the real XE will be more faceted than the current compound-curved XK.)
