Default Mark 9 Brake issues

My Mark9 has an issue with the Brakes dragging and even locking on occasionally. I've replaced the vacum booster and hoses and the brakes themselves are in good condition, any thoughts?

Peter how is the linkage adjustment from the pedal to the MC?

Good question, the pedal feels normal though there is a degree of variation in the pedal travel from soft to hard. This has been an ongoing problem for a number of years with a period after replacing the unit without an issue. Is the linkage adjustment crucial?

Yes if too tight it is like riding with your foot on the pedal. Heat only makes it worse.
