MK IX Power Steering Gear
I have a request. I am in the process of restoring a 1958-1961 Jaguar Mark IX Power Steering Gear, and it looks like most of it is still in my Box. It is about
Adjustable Ball Race (Small) at bottom of Inner Column (S-23-22 SNG part #). what the dimensions of this part are? Wrere can I find this part?Or what can I use in such a situation. Maybe a whole bearing, but what size? I will be very grateful for any information.
Regards, Roman

Have you contacted SNG Barratt about what they can supply ? From what I can see, the complete bearing is no longer available, but they do supply the individual ***** for the bearing. See item 7 on the diagram on their website. Diameter stated is 7.13 mm. Have you measured the ones you have, (or maybe you haven't got any !) ?
You could try walt@vintagejag.com, at Vintage Jag Works. They rebuilt my Mark VIII power steering box.
