I was just reading some of your posts from 2009 regarding your XJ central locking sys. problem and how you've solved it. Voila! I have the same problem that I inherited from the car's (1990 XJ40 Vanden Plas) orig. owner. When I first bought the car about 12 yrs. ago, I tried everything I could to fix the locking sys (no key fob) until I finally just gave up. I tried using an2 other used relays, locking solonoids on the driver door and etc. I've tried using the most logical approaches to address the problem but nothing seemed to work, yet you bought a "new" relay and it worked. The relay seems the most logical to me, do you know if there's a way to test the relay? Thanks much mon ami. (I hope I spelled it right, my French needs a lot of work
