Default 1961 Jaguar Mk II 3.8L 4-Speed Project

I have been a fan of Jaguars for a number of years and have had a 2005 S Type R and currently have a 2014 tuned XJR. I do all my own work too if possible! Have worked on several X350 XJ's including a spring swap for the troublesome air suspension.
A friend has a 1961 MK II sunroof model that is a project and just to big of a one for him or me. We just don't have the room or time.
Currently on Bring a trailer and is worth a look?

NO. This car is an absolute mess. Having restored a very, very low mileage (16,000 original miles) zero rust, no accident, near-perfect interior 3.8, and having made the mistake of adding up my receipts for the work, I can tell you that to do the Bringatrailer car properly will require replacement of virtually everything. On the other hand, if money and effort are absolutely no object....

And there's like 260 pictures of it, just to show people how bad it really is !

Might not even be worth buying as a parts car it is in such bad condition. Value?, possibly £1000 or $750 but some mug will get Auction fever and get carried away.

An honest rotten car. Would not go near it.

You're buying the title and ID plate. Everything else would be replaced.
