Default 1965 Mk 2 Coil

Hi, maybe an obvious and basic question but is the coil likely to be a ballast or non-ballast coil?

Thanks

Non ballast type, if measured, the new coil should be 3 ohm across the negative and positive terminals.

Do NOT multiple post questions across different forums. I've deleted the other one from General Tech Help.

As stated above, it is non-ballast. Forum Sponsor, S N G Barratt list the coil:

The relevant original Parts Catalogue pages:

The Workshop Manual (including Parts Catalogue) is available in the forum download area. This is the one Jaguar used to sell on CD. S N G Barratt also have a Parts Catalogue available for free download on their website.
