1966 3.8S S-Type Volvo Girling Front Brake Upgrade
As I mentioned earlier, I looked at all of those options from SNG Barratt, and the least expensive set was USD $1,300.00, or $1,000.00 more than the functionally identical Girling upgrade I performed using the Volvo-version calipers. You seem to think I should have spent more on the brake upgrade. But of course, there are lots and lots of other areas I'm going to have to spend money on. So if I can save $1,000 on front brakes without sacrificing the performance I need, I'll have more to apply to the steering box rebuild, suspension rebuild, interior, body repair, IRS rebuild, etc. etc. etc. I'm in my fourth decade of Jaguar ownership, so I've definitely learned that with a Jag there is always something else to spend money on.

Cheers,
Don
