Bentley Firing Order VS Jaguar
Here's something to wrap you head around Jon.
On the diagram, the inside firing order is for Jaguar 153624 COUNTER CLOCK WISE...
The outside numbers are for my 51 Mark VI Bentley 142635 Clock Wise...
Note that they are the same only differing in which way the distributor turns.
Note also that number 1 and 6 are at the opposite sides of each other (180 degrees apart)
No matter what the firing order or how ever the distributor turns 1 and 6 are always opposite of each other.
If cylinder number 1 is firing on compression, then number 6 is always on exhaust, this applies to all in line 6 cylinder engines.

Completely correct Jeff, this is absolutely spot on.
My reference in my PM is to crank degrees, 6 cylinder engines complete a full firing cycle over 720 deg of crank rotation.
