Hi all i was just wondering if anyone know what size spanner in need to turn crankshaft nut, i measured the nut 35mm a/f is this the correct size. i would like to set the tappets as i am tuning the car,also what else should i do while i am there

 

it's a large bolt head, like 1 and 1/8" inch. but the best way to confirm is to get under the front of the engine and try several socket sizes.

note that you should only turn it clockwise, never counter-clockwise.
