Hello from the Austrian Mountains
I live in Austria near Schladming, where the Ski World Championships recently took place. I have built up a small collection of Jaguars over the last 15 years, three of them - a 1956 MK7m, a 1965 E-Type 4,2 S1 Coupe, and a 1963 MK2 3,8 lt. - actually had their best years in the US, before they made it a second time over the Atlantic. Later came another 1963 rhd. MK2 3,4 lt. from England, and three austrian homeless limping Cats ( a 1965 3,8 lt. S-Type, a 1967 420 Daimler and a 1978 XJ 5,3 series 2) eventually found a home with me.
Last year I thought I would do myself a favour and buy something I could drive without having to bring the big toolbox along, so I bought a 2000 Daimler Super V8. Garage space and my wifes patience is getting low, so I am afraid there will be not much of a chance for further expansion.
I have no special questions at the moment, just wanted to join this forum because of its friedly and competent members.

Welcome to JF, Bergkatze. I think you'll find these forums useful and entertaining.
My son has visited Austria many times during his USAF duty in northern Italy. He says that Austria is one of his favorite countries in the world.
Glad to have you here.

Welcome to the forum, Bergkatze!
I toured around in the Austrian Alps in a Volvo S60 when my father in law was stationed in Germany. Absolutely stunning vistas that are just unmatched anywhere else. Enjoy the drive!
