You don't need to ~ I was using some license. But it is a real fiddle. Especially on an S Type.

The shorter handle on a 420. Any longer would hit the locking knob orientated upright. I don't know where the window is wound to. The lever should face downwards like an S Type. Due to US safety requirements a padded roll replaced the wood with a wooden garnish rail on top of it.
