Default E Type steering wheel horn button adapted for mark 2

Hello,
I have established that the e-type steering wheel hub fits on a Mark 2, and there seems to be plenty of examples of people having them with the standard e-type horn button. What I am trying to achieve is an adaptation I have seen on British Autowood site, where the e-type horn button has been replaced (see photo). Has anyone here done this or know specifically what the process is?

looks similar to the early (1963-1969) MG-B horn push surrounds, not the center emblem, but the surround.

is the picture of the British Autowood steering wheel horn push or is it yours?

The horn button (center piece) looks similar to the buttons in other Jags like the S type, 420, MK-10, MK-420G.

So the picture is taken from the British Autowood site. This is what I am ring to replicate. Someone has done this but who? Now I bought a Mk 2 centre cap from XKs Unlimited, but it does have the ring surround or anything to fit into the boss. I am guessing that I need to buy an e-type horn button complete and then try and change the centre button. But not sure.

yes, I would ask Saul at British Autowood, great guy. I'm in contact with him often.

There is a horn push with surround sold by Moss Motors in California but it is stepped, not rounded like the one in the picture, which again, looks similar to an MG-B surround. I know this because I still have my 1969 MG-B steering wheel, looks identical.

I have the stepped surround in my S type and I had a Momo Growler emblem which fits perfectly. The emblem is from 1994, came with a Momo steering wheel I purchased for my XJ-6.

here's a picture of my 1969 (1968 build), MG-B steering wheel. It has the original horn emblem and surround which by mid 1968 no longer worked as a horn-push since they transferred the horn function to the turn signals stalk switch. See the similarity of the parts?
