Default Handbrake compensator

The rod is insteady at the lower attachment to the bracket and does not rotate eqasily
The handbrake compensator on my Jaguar mk2 3,4 -62 is worn out in the bushings . It gives away and slacks the handbrake cable The rod does not rotate as it should and therefore the cable wont retract as it should and hangs down under the car. I can not find any replacement parts or any advices how to restore the compensator. except the brtacket at SNG Barrat.

Here is most of the listing from the parts catalog. Try running the part numbers through the suppliers' websites. Good luck.
