JLR Classic selling cars
I found this by accident. It seems JLR have gone into the used classic business.
Of the two RHD Mk2s, one has lost its roof and the other has XJ40 seats. There are also two LHD. While the photos are good, the details are not extensive.

Are these prices in your attachment realistic?
Some of these Land Rover and Range Rover prices are for vehicles that have little or no value in Australia.
Jaguars are way over our domestic market values.
Cheers

I don't know much about Landies and Rangies or off road 4x4 in general. I understand that certain series and combinations of bodies and chassis are incredibly sort after. I don't know why.
My car cost me way more than it's worth to restore. I had 2 silly high offers the day the restoration was finished. But official valuation for insurance is way down on them. I just wanted to do the car to that standard for myself.
Now if it was an Aston Martin Short Chassis DB 6 Volante with only 37 produced matters would be different.

I am assuming these cars have been built at the Ryton factory in Coventry where they are building the Jaguar SS, D Types, C Types and E Types. I had the pleasure of visiting the factory in 2020 for the Mk2 60th anniversary and had a walk around. The factory and standard of workmanship was superb. They take an older car then strip it to bare metal and rebuild using all new parts, The cars are made 1000 times better than factory original and that reflects in the price. One of these cars would not be driven on the road they are so good, they are museum pieces. Trailer queens come to mind but they want for nothing. Look at the mileage on some of them. The convertible only has 2202 miles on the clock. Would I spend that much on a car I would not want to drive. No.
The D Types Jaguar SS and C Types they build are perfect as to 1950s spec but as they were built this century are not road legal in the UK. There is a D Type on the site going for £1.25 million and it states it was issued with a temporary registration so it could compete in a road event but it cannot be registered as a new car in the UK so cannot be driven on the UK roads.
They also rebuild Land Rovers which are sold to the Saudis. Again no expense spared and they cost over £100k plus for a 110 Land Rover.
