Default MK 2 Door Sill Plates
Any tips on how to remove the door sill plates on a MK 2? They look like they are wrapped on. Do I have to get a tool under the aluminum on the inside and unfold it?

I recall the retaining screws are in the channel beneath the door seal rubber. Take those off and lift to roll off of the bead. I'm near to doing the same thing on my car.

Thanks for that. I found them OK. All 16 came out with a screw driver. Not bad for a 42 year old car.
