Default MK2 Gearbox Conversion

I have a 64 MK2. I have not made a final decision yet, but I am considering a conversion to a more contemporary five speed gearbox. I am curious about the pros/cons and personal preferences among the usual options: the Tremec T5, the Getrag, and the Toyota Supra non-turbo box. Of course, I would prefer to hear from those who have actually made the conversions.

I suppose cost, ease of installation and quality of fit, ease of access, and drivability might be appropriate factors to consider.

Thanks.
