Thanks for sharing--will let you know what I find! What does the boot badging look like?
Boot badge says 340.
When it was painted, there was never an indication that any holes were welded up.

Thanks for all the help too guys, what stumped me was the wrong colour codes were used, if it was red and green, I probably could have figured it out.

And no heritage sheet either, bought the car as an impulse buy for around 8,000.00 in restorable condition with my mother in mind _ she always wanted one.
Still have the original registration from December of 67, Vancouver B.C. Canada.

On Sleddy's 340 there are 2 wires which both appear black ! one then goes to the brake fluid sender, I did not trace the second wire.

The 3rd pic shows the foglight connections, these were added at restoration stage to Sleddy's car so output wires are modern pvc

The S-type has completely different wiring as you can see so that is no help.

Interestingly the red/green on the 340 is pvc not braided, my 340 is an early 340, if I can find that part of the loom I will update.

I have another MK2 in storage awaiting restoration, I will take a look at that one too for interest.

I am working away for a couple of days so will not get a chance to look until early next week.

Good evening

I was running in the same question on a 3.8 S Type (ex USA) with a not running two Speed Wiper Motor. I asked myself what the two wires were for. Trying now to complete the wiper motor who has the Stop Contact on the Wiper pull cable missing. Fitted a single speed motor for the moment.

Thanks
Robert
