Hello Everyone,
I am having a hard time trying to figure out what this part is on my 1964 Jaguar S-Type 3.8l Automatic Transmission. Would anyone be able to tell me what this does or controls? Thank you in advance!

the toggle switch controls the a/c compressor ON-OFF.
the left or right knob controls the blower/fan speed,
the other knob controls the air temperature or the set point at which the compressor kicks ON.
