Default Parts Suppliers In Canada ?

As the title says...
It's become even more expensive getting things out of the UK too.
A new jet assembly from Burlen is £25.00 !
An aftermarket kit from XKS.com is 75.00$ US _ not too bad.

It would be nice to find a Canadian source for things like this.

I found the UK to be the cheapest. Everyone in Canada will be sourcing from there anyway and just marking it up. I find postage from the UK to be much cheaper and faster than from the USA, I will only buy from the US as a last resort.

Or do what I did one time and have a vacation in the UK, and I upgraded to business class for the return and made full use of the baggage allowance of 3 x 32kg!

I used to import directly from the UK too, but things have become so expensive over there, I'm looking at US suppliers now.

I don't travel when I'm on vacation, I hate traveling _ dead lines _ standing in line _ crowds _ noise...
You would have to pay me to travel.

I can't even handle a trip to Vancouver, I come back and I feel like I've been run over by a truck.

Are you coming down to Jaguars on the Island in Victoria (July 27)?

I recevtly canceled an order with and English supplier of EDIS parts because Shipping was going to be $125 USD! The package couldn't have weighed more that 10 to 15 LBS.

Several months ago I ordered some door seals and window seals for an E-type FHC and the initial shipped quote from England to Detroit was $100 USD. They finally found a way to reduce it to $75 UDS (still a lot of money). I was about to cancel that order too but swallowed hard and paid it. I have been told that that supplier makes the best door seals for fit and function.

I order out of the US to a Port Huron PO Box and run over and bring them across myself, 3 Hour round trip. If your close to the border this works out best for me.
