Default Quarter Light

Some time ago someone was seeking a quarter light.I responded that I thought that I had a spare some where! Since that time I came down with Covid and it has taken me some time to find my interest again. So, I have found it. Is it still wanted? Alec G.

Are those the ones at the back where the rear windshield is, or the pair at the top of the door pillars ?
Mine are all broken.

The original request was for the front door, right hand side, which I have now found, although it needs a good clean up. I do have other parts in similar conditions. What do you need? AlecG.

It's this.

Interior Lamp (BHA5138) (sngbarratt.com)

The reproes are not the same, what goes wrong is the plastic lens where the pegs snap into, break.
There is a small metal clip in there to catch the mounting pegs that no longer stay in place because the plastic lens breaks from age.

I believe that he means what Jaguar calls an NDV. No draft ventilator. i.e the small triangular front glass windows & frames on the front doors.

Known in much of the world as a Quarter Light

Glyn
I am pretty sure you are right. That is what we call it in Australia

Wing in SA would mean something mounted out on the front wing or fender. e.g. a wing mirror.

In the words of the late Sir David Frost OBE ~ regarding the Americans "they do torture the language so"

He interviewed Nixon etc. until Nixon walked out.

JeffR1, I'm sorry but do not understand! The parts I have are old originals off a scrapped vehicle. I would hate to think of the cost to ship to Canada! Alec G.

I thought you were talking about the interior lights inside, not the quarter window (quarter light) on the front doors.

Light = sheet of glass installed in a window frame.
Quarter = the directions in between the cardinals.

NDV = Newcastle disease virus?
